About the event

On Sunday, May 17, 2026, please join us for a special morning with Dr. Mark Biddle, Founding Dean of Sophia Theological Seminary and Sophia Farm, in Dinwiddie, VA, as we explore the intersection of caring for creation (ecology) and God's intentions for the world, including human beings (theology). We hope you'll join us.


On May 17, our morning will begin at 9:45 p.m. with Dr. Biddle leading a presentation in seminar-style and conversation for adults, followed by Dr. Biddle preaching on similar themes at worship, which begins at 11:00 a.m. After worship, we'll reconvene in our fellowship hall for lunch with Dr. Biddle and a time of discussion and Q & A. Also, we have asked Dr. Biddle to introduce us to the work of Sophia Theological Seminary and Sophia Farms. Sophia Seminary is an inclusive community seeking to realize a new way of doing theological education, one which trains…
