NEST is a volunteer coalition of churches, synagogues, and community groups who offer emergency shelter to the homeless during the winter months.  Volunteers are needed to sign guests in, prepare and serve the evening meal and breakfast, and take overnight shifts staying at the host church. Volunteers are able to build relationships with these wonderful people who need this service and to gain unusual insight into their lives and the challenges they face. Many of those who stay in the NEST program have had medical struggles, and many hold down jobs but simply do not make enough to afford rent.  Called to serve?  Contact Eula Finley, office@freemasonstreet.org.
