The Freemason St. Baptist Church Library mission is to provide resources to support congregational ministries, to guide individuals in their spiritual growth, and to encourage its congregation to live out its faith.

While the main focus of the FSBC Library is the religion section (the 200s) and those other Dewey classes that support religious/ spiritual topics, the Library Collection Development Team will also collect materials on a wide range of topics that reflect the needs and interests of the FSBC community including, but not limited to:

  • The Bible (including various translations and interpretations)
  • Baptist policy and history
  • Christian life
  • Spiritual development
  • Prayer
  • Worship
  • Stewardship
  • Church administration
  • Church music
  • Missions
  • Other denominations and religions
  • Ethics, social issues and philosophy

It also includes reference works such as concordances, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and atlases.

Gifts and donations are welcomed and encouraged and are subject to library policies and approval by the Library Collection Development Team.

The Freemason Street Baptist Church Library belongs to all church members and all are encouraged to use it. Questions, suggestions, and comments regarding the collections are welcomed and should be directed to the Library Committee Chair or
